working in gun bluing and restoration work. I am certified in pistol and rifle smithing and have my Federal Firearms

Hot Caustic Bluing
is a superior finish over
cold bluing.
Rust Bluing
is a process of acid rust bluing
which is a more durable finish
than Hot Caustic or Cold bluing.
Nitre Bluing
is for smaller parts of the gun
to add accent and beautify your firearm.

is your military type finish
and a good finish for avid
hunters. This is a durable finish
